Woman burned after propane tank fire at Track 15

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Fire Department said that a woman sustained non-life-threatening burns after a propane tank fire at Track 15 on Oct. 4.

Firefighters responded to the area around 5 p.m. to find that the fire, which was extinguished before their arrival, had originated from an outdoor propane heater.

The victim was then transported to the hospital.

There were no other injuries.
