One suspect in custody after Fall River stabbing homicide
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A 53-year-old man has died after being stabbed in the chest Monday morning, according to a statement from the Bristol County District Attorney’s office.
According to Jennifer Sowa, Deputy District Attorney, the incident was called in to 911 at approximately 2:15 a.m. Monday.
Fall River police officers arrived at 57 Chesworth Street and located the victim with an injury to his chest.
He was transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving.
One suspect is in custody in the incident and the investigation remains active by Fall River police and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the DA’s office.
