Crews respond to late night fire in Tiverton

TIVERTON, R.I. (WLNE)- Crews responded to a 2-alarm fire in Tiverton Saturday night.

The Tiverton Fire Department said firefighters responded to the structure fire on Eagleville Road at 10:30 p.m.

Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the roof of the building.

Crews from Fall River, Portsmouth, and Westport responded as mutual aid.

Fire officials said the fire was knocked down within an hour, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
