Autumnfest closes early due to expected Nor’easter

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Organizers of Autumnfest said that the festival was closed early Sunday and cancelled the following day for the safety of vendors and attendees due to an expected Nor’easter.

Closing ceremonies were held at 2 p.m., and the parade scheduled for Oct. 13 was cancelled.
