2 hospitalized with burns after Attleboro fire

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The Attleboro Fire Department said two people were hospitalized after a house fire in Attleboro Sunday night.

Firefighters responded to a multi-family home on Pine Street around 7 p.m. for reports of a fire.

According to officials, crews were able to put out the flames quickly.

Two people were taken to the hospital with burns.

Early reports show the fire may have started in a dryer, but the investigation is ongoing.

The Red Cross is helping the four residents who are displaced.
