Magaziner, Amo comment on Gaza War ceasefire, release of hostages

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Members of the Rhode Island congressional delegation commented on Monday’s release of Israeli hostages as part of a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel military forces.

Congressman Seth Magaziner posted the following statement:

I am grateful that after two years of unspeakable suffering, the last living Israeli hostages have returned home and peace restored in Gaza.

I pray that leaders throughout the region will demonstrate the wisdom, compassion and humility necessary for the ceasefire to endure.
