Coventry Town Council to meet following Lima, Angell resignations
COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — Coventry Town Council meets tonight, following a turbulent few month of allegations about free speech violations.
Former council president Hillary Lima and town solicitor Stephen Angell resigned prior to the council’s most recent meeting with intended discussion to remove them both.
At tonight’s meeting, the council will discuss appointing a new town solicitor.
Town wide council member John Paul Verducci presides as council vice president.
Tonight’s meeting is at 5:30, and public comment is allowed.
