Mail-in voting deadline for Providence Ward 2 special election at 4

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — In Providence, today is the deadline for mail-in voting for the Ward 2 special election.

That seat, which encompasses Blackstone, College Hill, and Wayland, was held by Helen Anthony, who resigned in August due to her health.

Five Democrats and one Republican are vying for the seat.

The deadline to mail in your ballot is at 4.

Primary day is on November 4, with polls open from 7 in the morning until 8 at night.
