Firefighters battle garage fire in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Warwick Fire Department said firefighters battled a garage fire on Oct. 13.

Firefighters responded to a home on Stiness Drive around 8 p.m. for reports of a working structure fire.

Firefighters extinguished the flames, which officials said spread from a car to the garage.

Officials said the garage was detached from the house.

The department said the car was not an electric vehicle.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
