High pressure drifting off the coast will bring a nice mild Sunday our way as temperatures climb into the upper 60s to near 70 under a good deal of sunshine and somewhat breezy conditions. Clouds will be increasing late in the day and overnight Sunday as a cold front will be approaching. That front will cross the region Monday afternoon, but out ahead of it will be rain in the morning, which looks to become heavy during the late morning through the lunch hour, but during the afternoon the showers end and we should see a little bit of sunshine before the day ends. You will notice a rather gusty wind as well that could reach 30-35mph as the front itself crosses the region.
We’ll have a chance to dry out for Tuesday, but another cold front will move through for Wednesday with more showers and that will be followed by a little bit cooler than normal temperatures for the second half of the week.
