Cooler trend ahead for Southern New England
We’re waking up to sunshine on this Thursday morning! Temperatures start out in the low/mid 40s inland, and low 50s for the coast. By the afternoon, highs will top out on either side of 60 degrees– right where we should be for this time of year. We’ll have a mix of sun & clouds, and while the day is mostly dry, a stray shower can’t be counted out later in the afternoon & evening.
Overnight lows drop to the low and mid 40s. Tonight is also the last peak night of the Orionid meteor shower! Go outside (ideally after midnight) turn south, and keep your eyes on the horizon, and you may just see a meteor!
Friday will be very similar to Thursday in that highs will be in the upper 50s with a mix of sun & clouds. We, once again, have a chance to see a few raindrops by Friday afternoon/evening.
Temperatures cool heading into the weekend! Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Sunday will be mostly to partly sunny, but cooler with highs in the low to mid 50s.
Have a great day!
