New Bedford-Fairhaven Swing Bridge stuck in open position

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said that the New Bedford-Fairhaven Swing Bridge was closed Thursday night.

In #NewBedford and #Fairhaven, New Bedford-Fairhaven Swing Bridge (Route 6) is closed. Bridge is currently stuck in open position. Closure is expected to remain in place for several hours.

The bridge on Route 6 was said to be stuck in its open position.
