Mostly dry stretch ahead for Southern New England
We’re waking up to sunshine and lows in the 30s and 40s on this Friday– grab a jacket as you head out the door. Highs will be in the mid and upper 50s, with a few spots hitting 60 degrees. While the sun sticks around for a while, clouds increase in the afternoon, and a stray shower is possible in the early evening. Overnight, lows will fall back to the 30s and 40s.
Saturday, aside from the cool start, we start the day with more sunshine. We’ll stay mostly sunny throughout the day with highs ending up in the mid 50s. The warmest spots will be in the upper 50s. A nice, seasonal day to get outdoors!
Sunday will be in the mid 50s, and while we start with sunshine, clouds increase through the afternoon.
This coming week will be a bit unsettled. Monday will be in the low and mid 50s with increasing clouds. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a stray shower in the evening.
We’re keeping an eye on a coastal storm that could impact Southern New England mid to late week this coming week. There are a lot of details regarding this storm that are still somewhat uncertain, but right now it looks like this could bring us some heavy rain on Wednesday and Thursday. We’ll keep you posted as we get closer!
