Lincoln police seek identities of suspects in sunglasses theft

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — Lincoln police are asking for public assistance in identifying a pair of shoplifting suspects, one of whom they say distracted a clerk while the other stole a pair of sunglasses.

The incident occurred on August 5 at Eyes on Lincoln on Washington Highway.

A female suspect distracted a store employee while a male suspect walked to a display, put on a pair of Oakley sunglasses and walked out without paying, according to Lincoln police.
