Raynham Fire Department battle fire at home

RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Raynham Fire Department said it battled a structure fire at a home on Broadway Thursday.

The fire occurred around 8 a.m. and involved the back of the home.

The department said the fire was extinguished in 30 minutes, and seven occupants, five cats, a rabbit, and several snakes were able to escape.

However, one cat died in the fire.

There were no injuries.
