Person ‘grazed’ by vehicle in Providence suffered minor injuries

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said a person was grazed by a passing vehicle on Charles Street on Thursday.

The department said the victim appeared to have been suffering a “mental health episode” but only suffered minor injuries.

They were transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Police also said the vehicle involved in the incident did not remain on scene.
