Wicked windy day across Southern New England!

We’re waking up windy, with gusts already in the 20s and 30s. There is a Wind Advisory in place until 7 PM Tuesday, as gusts could get up to 50mph, particularly for coastal areas and high elevation areas. Temperatures will be in the 40s this morning, and mid to upper 50s in the afternoon. On the bright side, literally, we’ll stay mostly sunny throughout the day.

Overnight, we’ll be in the  low 40s and mostly clear. However, clouds increase throughout the day on Wednesday, and temperatures will land in the mid 50s in the afternoon. Our next chance of rain rolls around Wednesday night as a cold front moves through the region. One or two showers may linger into the very early hours of Thursday morning, but they should be long gone by the peak of the morning commute. Thursday will be breezy and cooler, with highs in the low 50s and sunshine in the afternoon.

We follow a similar pattern Friday, with clouds slowly increasing (especially during the afternoon/evening). Highs will be in the mid 50s. Our next weather-maker arrives Friday night, bringing a few showers that could last until Saturday morning.
