Alviti scheduled to announce upcoming RIDOT projects

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island Department of Transportation Director Peter Alviti will announce the department’s next slate of projects Thursday afternoon.

Lane closures and shifts on I-95  in Providence, 146 in North Smithfield, and I-95 and Route 4 in Warwick and East Greenwich will be discussed in the presser.

Work will kick off on Friday night, and Alviti’s press conference will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
