MSP ‘Operation Firewall’ arrests 56 suspects in child pornography or enticement cases

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts State Police arrested 56 suspects over a three-day operation targeting people suspected of crimes against children, according to a Monday announcement.

Dubbed Operation Firewall, the initiative by MSP saw troopers search 34 homes and seize 229 devices along with the four dozen-plus arrests.

The operation focused on suspects in the production, possession and sharing of child pornography and child enticement.
