Cumberland Police investigating fatal crash

CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cumberland Police Department said it was investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that happened on Nov. 11.

The single-vehicle crash happened around 11:15 p.m. on West Wrentham Road.

Police said the vehicle was on fire and the occupant was trapped inside, and after the fire was extinguished they were declared dead.
