Timing out some weekend rain

Friday Morning Forecast

We’re starting out chilly on this Friday and staying chilly in the afternoon. Expect temperatures in the mid 40s with some clouds creeping in throughout the afternoon. We may see a late-day sprinkle or flurry (after sunset) thanks to some lake-effect moisture, but anything we see will be very short-lived. Good news for the folks headed out to high school football games tonight! It’ll be a chilly one, with temperatures falling from the upper 30s to low 30s for most games, but largely dry.

By Saturday morning, we’re waking up to the upper 20s and low 30s– brrr! We’ll only get to the mid-40s in the afternoon, but we’ll be mostly sunny and dry. Clouds increase late in the afternoon, and rain moves in late Saturday night (after 9 PM). We’ll have showers, and some periods of heavy rain through very early Sunday morning. The last of the raindrops will taper off mid-morning. Sunday afternoon we’ll be in and out of the clouds. Expect highs in the low to mid 50s (finally, an average day). We may see some late-day drizzle with a little lake effect moisture reaching us, yet again, and it will be breezy as well.

Monday, we’re right back to highs in the 40s, becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon. We’ll stay in the 40s and mostly sunny on Tuesday and Wednesday as well.

Have a great weekend!
