Fairhaven police investigate stabbing incident at town hotel parking lot

FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (WLNE) — Fairhaven police responded to a stabbing incident early Thursday morning in a town hotel parking lot.

Police arrived at 110 Middle Street at 1:50 a.m. and located the 31-year-old male victim suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound to the abdomen.

The victim was transported to Saint Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.

On-scene individuals did not cooperate with police during their investigation of the incident.

The stabbing is still under investigation, and police believe it to be an isolated incident.

A man unrelated to the incident was arrested on the scene for a warrant in another matter.
