Westport fire personnel, mutual aid battle trash truck fire on Route 88
WESTPORT, Mass. (WLNE) — Westport Fire Department personnel along with mutual aid responded to a trash truck fire Friday morning.
The incident took place on the 195 West ramp to Route 88 where Dartmouth Fire District 3 arrived to assist.
According to the Westport FD, the fire possibly started in the engine compartment of the vehicle.
There were no injuries in the incident.
