Fall River police encounter uncooperative victim in reported stabbing

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police responded to a reported stabbing Monday night, stating that the victim refused to cooperate in the investigation.

According to Fall River police, officers responded to the area of Eastern Avenue and Pleasant Street at 10:21 p.m.

Officers located a 28-year-old male who had sustained a superficial wound to the chest.

The victim told officers that he “didn’t want to be a snitch” and was not from Fall River, according to police.

He told police that an unknown male attempted to rob him, stabbing him in the chest.

He could not provide the location or time of the alleged attack, nor a description of the suspect or weapon.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
