Cranston Police investigating robbery

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cranston Police Department said detectives are investigating after a robbery Wednesday afternoon.

According to Cranston police, a cell phone was stolen in front of a home on Bracken Street around 2:30 p.m.

Nobody was hurt.

Police said the suspects took off in a vehicle headed towards Providence.

Cranston police said it is working with Providence police to locate the suspects.
