Week one of Brian Walshe murder trial to wrap up in Dedham

DEDHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The first week of the Brian Walshe murder trial will wrap up Friday after a week of testimony including grisly accusations that the defendant dismembered his wife Ana after allegedly murdering her.

A man who had an affair with Ana Walshe testified Thursday about his relationship with the victim.

“Ana felt that it was really important that when Brian was to find out about the relationship that he was to hear it from her,” said Washington, D.C. real estate broker William Fastow.

“She had expressed great concern and I think she felt it would be a strike against her integrity if he found out a different way.”

The prosecution also introduced GPS data and surveillance footage from Walshe’s cellphones.

They said that the information from the devices led police to conclude that Walshe had disposed of his wife’s remains around New Year’s Day in 2023.

Walshe maintains his innocence in the murder, but pleaded guilty to two lesser charges of unlawful disposal of a body and misleading police.
