Police: Person killed after being trapped under car in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A person was killed after being trapped underneath a vehicle in Providence on Monday morning, police said.

Police were called to Hillside Avenue for the incident Monday morning.

A police spokesperson said the person, who hasn’t been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is being investigated as an “accidental death,” the police spokesperson said.
