Providence police investigate shots fired

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Providence police are investigating after a report of shots fired on Bath Street Saturday night.

Officers responded to the Smith Hill neighborhood just after 9 p.m.

A witness told police a man fired a gun from inside of a silver, newer model, Honda coupe.

Investigators collected several casings at the scene.

Providence police are investigating the incident.
