Providence police ask for help identifying person seen near ‘person of interest’ in Brown University case
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police on Wednesday asked for the public’s help identifying an additional person seen in a surveillance image near Brown University.
Police said the new person was “in proximity to the person of interest” in the case.

From Providence Police: “Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying and speaking to the individual shown in these photos who was in proximity of the person of interest.”
Police asked anyone who can help identify the individual to call the tip line at 401-272-3121.
Police want to speak with this person as part of their investigation, a spokesperson said.
Police released an enhanced photo of the person they want to speak with just after 3 p.m. Wednesday (seen below).
The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward in the case and released new videos of the person of interest Tuesday.
Law enforcement is still searching for the person who shot and killed two Brown University students and wounded nine others in a mass shooting on Dec. 13.
