Coventry Police searching for missing 77-year-old woman

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — Coventry police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 77-year-old woman, according to Rhode Island State Police and the Rhode Island Broadcasters Association.

77-year-old Leslie Smith was last seen around 7 a.m. in the area of Carley Drive on Wednesday.

According to police, she was “possibly” wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt with the word “Alaska” on it, blue knit pants, and black shoes.

Leslie was described as five feet tall, 120 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes.

According to police, she is “believed to be endangered due to physical and/or mental health issues.”

Anyone who may have seen Leslie is asked to contact Coventry police at 401-826-1100.
