New Bedford narcotics detectives arrest two for alleged fentanyl and cocaine possession

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — New Bedford police arrested two suspects on firearms and narcotics charges Monday following a motor vehicle stop.

According to the New Bedford Police Union, narcotics detectives arrested Julio Comacho, 39, and Christina Duarte, 44, in the stop.

Detectives said that they found a firearm in the car and that Comacho, who was driving, was found in possession of fentanyl and cocaine.

According to the union, Comacho has accumulated a long arrest record for narcotics-related incidents and has spent time in prison.
