Fall River PD: Suspect entered stranger’s home, stabbed him multiple times
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — New details have been shared by police in a weekend Fall River stabbing.
According to the Fall River Police Department, 28-year-old Gahetan Jean-Louis entered a stranger’s Laurel Street home on Saturday night and stabbed an occupant multiple times before fleeing the residence.
Jean-Louis was apprehended nearby and is now facing multiple charges in the incident.
The victim is expected to recover and it is currently unknown whether he and the suspect knew each other.
Jean-Louis’ mental health is being considered a factor in the investigation.
