Three wounded, one critically in Fairhaven stabbing incident
FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (WLNE) — Fairhaven and Massachusetts State Police are searching for a suspect in a triple-stabbing incident that left one victim critically injured.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. outside a home on Cherry Street, according to Fairhaven police.
An altercation led up to the attack that left three people with stab wounds, and police said that they located a firearm carried by the suspect.
The early investigation has determined that the attack was not random and that the victims and suspect know each other.
The investigation is ongoing and police said that there is no threat to public as they believe the attack was an isolated incident.
