UPDATE: One person dead in Burrillville home fire

BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WLNE) — One person has died in a Friday morning Burrillville house fire at 13 Wells Road, according to the Burrillville Fire Department.

According to the department, arriving personnel observed the home to be fully engulfed in flames at approximately 4 a.m.

After knocking down the fire, personnel discovered a deceased occupant in a bedroom.

The incident remains under investigation by the Rhode Island State Fire Marshal and Rhode Island Medical Examiner.
