3 people arrested on vandalism charges in North Smithfield

NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I (WLNE) – Two adults and one juvenile were arrested for allegedly breaking several windows at the Halliwell School.

North Smithfield police took a complaint of the vandalism on May 18.

Police analyzed the surveillance footage capture by cameras at the School and were able to identify the persons committing vandalism.

As a result, two adults and one juvenile were arrested.

The juvenile and one of the adults was a town resident, and the other adult is from Massachusetts.

They’ve all been charged with one count of vandalism and are scheduled to appear for a heading at a later date.

18-year-old Emily Lariviere of North Smithfield and 23-year-old Kristen Nelson of Wellesley, Massachusetts are the adults charged.
