State House to reopen to the public on June 1st

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – Plans have been announced for a safe and responsible reopening of the Rhode Island State House, beginning with a limited reopening on June 1st.
The State House will be open to the public between the hours of 9:00 am.m and 3:00 p.m Monday through Friday.
As the state will not be requiring proof of vaccination for visitors, individuals entering the building must wear a mask in all common areas as a precaution.
Visitors will need to sign a visitors log and receive a temperature check upon entry.
Wedding or wedding photo appointments will resume on June 1.
All-State House tours and other scheduled in-person activities operated by each office may resume at their discretion.
