BALLPARK AT SLATER MILL: Yale students help design stadium

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A team of architecture students from Yale University will present their design of the ballpark at Slater Mill on Friday morning.

The students’ work detail what the stadium will look like at the site of the old Apex building.

The Slater Mill site has been eyed by the PawSox, and a study found it would generate more development and tax revenue.

The General Assembly has yet to determine if the state will help finance the $83 million stadium.
