Waterfront Vaccination Center to close

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) – The Waterfront Vaccination Center will end walk-up vaccinations and close on Sunday, the city announced Thursday.

Vaccines will still be available Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Second dose appointments scheduled for June 1 will still happen.

CIC Health will now offer vaccine clinics at Andrea McCoy Recreation Center on Mondays beginning June 7.

A schedule of mobile vaccination units to be held at supermarkets and other community locations is forthcoming.
