Central Falls, Pawtucket launching summer program for high risk teens
CENTRAL FALLS, RI (WLNE) – In an effort to stop teens from getting involved in gang violence the cities of Central Falls and Pawtucket are launching a new summer program for at risk inner-city teens.
The Nonviolence Institute in Providence announced a seven week Youth Summer Program for high risk teens in Pawtucket and Central Falls.
They will spend 30 hours a week, taking non-violence training courses, resume building workshops, as well as apply for paid internships within the two cities.
