Governor Charlie Baker signs bill extending cocktails-to-go

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) – Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker signed legislation on Wednesday extending the state’s cocktails-to-go program.
The program will remain in place until May 1, 2022.
Restaurants and bars across the country adopted cocktails-to-go during the pandemic, and it has been widely regarded as a financial lifeline for eateries.
According to the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States, 15 states have signed legislation making their cocktails-to-go programs permanent.
