CHICOPEE, Mass. (AP) – Police say the body of a 10-year-old boy who went missing while playing in the woods of Massachusetts has been recovered.

Chicopee police in a Facebook statement did not say exactly where the boy was found Tuesday, but authorities had previously said they thought that he and an 11-year-old companion had fallen through the ice on the Chicopee River on Saturday.

The 11-year-old boy, a resident of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, was recovered from the water Saturday and died at a Boston hospital on Sunday. The boys are believed to be cousins.

Their names have not been made public.
