Car crashes into tree, catches fire, sends man to RI Hosptial

FOXBORO, M.A. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police are investigating a crash that sent a 21-year-old North Providence man to the hospital.

The 1999 Infinity sedan operated by the victim, crashed into a tree and caught fire on 95 North, near exit 8 around 5:52 p.m.

Officials said the 21-year-old had to be extricated from the vehicle.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

His condition is unknown at this time.
