Five people stabbed outside popular Providence bar

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A fight outside a popular Providence bar Sunday morning led to five people injured with stab wounds and another victim hit by a car.

The Providence Police Department says the incident took place outside The Whiskey Republic around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Officers first found three men with injuries and later discovered two others had already gone to the hospital with stab wounds.

All victims are suffering non-life threatening injuries and are in their 20s.

So far, no arrests have been made.
