Crews respond to fire at Pawtucket mill building

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) – Officials are investigating a fire at an unoccupied mill building Saturday afternoon.

Crews were called to the building off Beecher Street around 1:00 PM.

They were able to get the fire under control and damage was not extensive.

The building is currently under construction, so authorities are looking into how the fire may have started.

No injuries were reported.
