Free canoe rides in Providence to start next week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) will be offering free canoe rides at Riverside Park in Providence, starting on July 8.

The free rides will be available from 4-6 p.m. on Thursdays throughout July and August near the fish ladder in the park.

Pre-registration is not required but all participants must complete a WRWC waiver or have one signed by a parent.
