PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Providence police are investigating a possible prostitution operation in the city. Three suspects were arrested this week.

Police executed search warrants on Monday for locations on Bough St., High Service Rd., and Westminster St.

Police say over the course of two months, multiple women were transported back and forth from outside locations into Providence to exchange sexual activity for a monetary fee. The suspects involved in the operation were arrested without incident.

Blanca Hernandez, 52, Julio Hernandez, 48, and Carlos Lopez, 57, are charged with pandering, maintaining a nuisance and conspiracy. They were arraigned on Tuesday.

Two female victims escorted from the scene were provided shelter and resources by Day One and Family Services of Rhode Island.
