Man robbed early Saturday morning in Providence, police investigating

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Providence Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place early on Saturday morning.

The department said that a 79-year-old man was robbed and assuaulted and robbed at 524 Manton Avenue at around 5:30 a.m.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the detective bureau.
