Father forces children to blow into DUI lock in car after drinking

NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. – A North Smithfield father was sentenced for cheating the ignition interlock system on his car meant to prevent him from drunk driving.

Robert Freiberger, 48, of Slatersville, plead no contest to forcing his children to blow into the system after he’d consumed alcohol.

Freiberger’s sentence was suspended and he is now on probation.
