SEEKONK, Mass. (WLNE) — Seekonk police have released the identity of the man killed in a serious rollover crash that downed power lines and trapped him inside his car Sunday night.
Sean Letourneau, age 33, was found partially ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on scene when crews responded to the area of Pine Street and Brown Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Sun Chronicle reports that the 33-year-old driver was pinned underneath his car for more than an hour while police worked to get him out.
During that time, National Grid was forced to cut power to around 1,500 residents.
Police said Letourneau was living in Seekonk with friends, but his license indicted he was Pawtucket resident.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
