Woman drowns in South Kingstown pool

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — A 61-year-old woman died in South Kingstown after an apparent drowning early Saturday morning.

Police and EMS responded to a private residence on Wild Flower Trail. The woman appeared to have drowned in the pool at the residence.

The incident is still under investigation.
